1. Create SharePoint Group

Follow the below steps to create a SharePoint group for one or more site collections.

Select Site Collections
Select the farm where a SharePoint group needs to be created. To select site collections of the farm, click Select site collection(s) under the farm's name. It'll pop-open a window that lists all site collections. Search site collections by name using the search bar provided. To search up site collections using web applications as reference, you can switch to tree view by clicking the tree view icon at the right top corner of the window.

From that list, tick the boxes against the web applications or site collection as per your need. Click on Select at the bottom of the window.
Configuration
- Provide a suitable name and description for the SharePoint group in the fields against Name and About respectively
- Click on to assign an Owner. It'll pop-open the People Picker window, where you can look up the name of the user who'll be assigned as the owner of the SharePoint group, using the search bar.
  After selecting the desired user by ticking the box against the name, click Select at the bottom of the window.
- Select who can view the membership for the group as either Group Members or Everyone
- Select who can edit the membership for the group as either Group Owner or Group Members
- Select Yes or No to allow request to join/leave this group
- Select Yes or No to allow auto-accept request
- Enter a valid email ID to receive membership requests from users
- Click Apply to create group. It'll direct to a Result Summary page which gives the summary of the result of the operation performed.

2. Add User to Groups

Follow the below steps to add one or more users to any number of SharePoint groups.

Select Site Collections
To add new users to SharePoint groups, select the farm to which the SharePoint groups belong. To select site collections of the farm, click Select site collection(s) under the farm's name. It'll pop-open a window that lists all site collections. Search site collections by name using the search bar provided. To search up site collections using web applications as reference, you can switch to tree view by clicking the tree view icon at the right top corner of the window.

From that list, tick the boxes against the web applications or site collection as per your need. Click on Select at the bottom of the window.
Select SharePoint Group(s)
Click on to select one or more SharePoint groups. It'll pop-open a window, where all the SharePoint groups are listed pertaining to the selected site collections.

After selecting the desired SharePoint group(s) by ticking the box against their names, click Select at the bottom of the window.
Select Users
Click on to select one or more user(s). It'll pop-open the People Picker window, where you can look up the name of a user to add to the selected SharePoint group(s).

After selecting the desired SharePoint user(s) by ticking the box against their names, click Select at the bottom of the window.
Click Apply to add the selected users to the selected groups. It'll direct to a Result Summary page which gives the summary of the result of the operations performed.

3. Remove Users from Groups

Follow the below steps to remove one or more users from any number of SharePoint groups.

Select Site Collections
Select the farm where user(s) need to be removed from SharePoint group(s). To select site collections of the farm, click Select site collection(s) under the farm's name. It'll pop-open a window that lists all site collections. Search site collections by name using the search bar provided. To search up site collections using web applications as reference, you can switch to tree view by clicking the tree view icon at the right top corner of the window.

From that list, tick the boxes against the web applications or site collection as per your need. Click on Select at the bottom of the window.
Select SharePoint Group(s)
Click on to select one or more SharePoint groups. It'll pop-open a window, where all the SharePoint groups are listed pertaining to the selected site collections.

After selecting the desired SharePoint group(s) by ticking the box against their names, click Select at the bottom of the window.

After selecting the desired users or groups by ticking the box against their names, click Select at the bottom of the window.
Select Users
Click on to select one or more user(s). It'll pop-open the People Picker window, where you can look up the name of a user to add to the selected SharePoint group(s).

After selecting the desired SharePoint user(s) by ticking the box against their names, click Select at the bottom of the window.
Click Apply to remove the selected users from the selected groups. It'll direct to a Result Summary page which gives the summary of the result of the operations performed.
Click Apply at the bottom of the page that directs to a Result Summary page which gives the summary of the result of the operations performed.

4. Copy User between Groups

Follow the below steps to copy users from one SharePoint group to many other SharePoint groups.

Select Site Collections
Select the farm where users need to be copied between SharePoint group(s). To select site collections of the farm, click Select site collection(s) under the farm’s name. It'll pop-open a window that lists all site collections. Search site collections by name using the search bar provided. To search up site collections using web applications as reference, you can switch to tree view by clicking the tree view icon at the right top corner of the window.

From that list, tick the boxes against the web applications or site collection as per your need. Click on Select at the bottom of the window.
Select Source SharePoint Group
Click on to select a source SharePoint group. It'll pop-open a window, where all the SharePoint groups are listed pertaining to the selected site collections.

After selecting the desired SharePoint group by ticking the box against its name, click Select at the bottom of the window.
Select Destination SharePoint Group(s)
Click on to select one or more destination SharePoint groups. It'll pop-open a window, where all the SharePoint groups are listed pertaining to the selected site collections.

After selecting the desired SharePoint group(s) by ticking the box against their names, click Select at the bottom of the window.
Click List users to list the users belonging to the source SharePoint group. From the list generated, select the desired users by ticking the boxes against their name and click either the Copy or Move operation as per your need. It'll direct to a Result Summary page which gives the summary of the result of the operations performed.
Note: Copy operation will copy the users from the source group to the destination group(s). Move operation will move the users from the source group to the destination group(s). If Move operation is used, the source group will no longer have the users who were moved to the destination group(s).

5. Delete SharePoint Groups

Follow the below steps to delete one or more SharePoint groups.

Select Site Collections
Select the farm for which one or more SharePoint groups need to be deleted. To select site collections of the farm, click Select site collection(s) under the farm's name. It'll pop-open a window that lists all site collections. Search site collections by name using the search bar provided. To search up site collections using web applications as reference, you can switch to tree view by clicking the tree view icon at the right top corner of the window.

From that list, tick the boxes against the web applications or site collection as per your need. Click on Select at the bottom of the window.
Click List groups to list all the groups pertaining to the selected site collections. From the list generated, select the desired groups by ticking the boxes against their name and click Delete to delete the groups. It'll direct to a Result Summary page which gives the summary of the result of the operations performed.
