Users can update their personal information such as mobile number, address, photo, etc., store in Active Directory attributes using ADSelfService Plus' Self-Service Directory Update feature. Once the feature is enabled, users can use the Profile tab in the ADSelfService Plus user portal to update the required information. Based on the profile information updated in some of the fields by the users, admins can set other fields to auto-populate using the Modification Rules feature offered in ADSelfService Plus.
Note: To add multiple rules, click the ADD Rule button in the top of the tab. To delete an existing rule, click the Delete Rule icon at the end of the rule name line.
Note: By default, no conditions are assigned. You can however, assign values to particular attributes, which will be applicable to all AD users.
Note: You can add multiple conditions to be checked when users update their profile and link them using “AND” or “OR”.
Based on the above example, select "Title" from the description field, and enter the terms "Accountant" and "Finance Controller" as two different conditions
