Enable Reports

Introduction:

This section is common to all the editions of IT360 - Professional Edition, Enterprise Edition - Probes only and MSP Edition - Probes only.

Features:

Steps to Enable Reports:

  1. Go to 'Admin -> Servers & Applications -> Enable Reports'.

  2. In the page displayed, you can configure Custom Reports and Downtime Summary Report (Daily EMail Reports), by following the steps given below.

Custom Reports :

Under Custom Reports tab, you will be able to select the required resource and the associated performance metrics.

  1. Select the Monitor Type and check the check box(es) of Performance Metric(s), for which the reports are to be generated.

  2. Click the Save button below and the selected Performance Metric(s) will be added automatically in your reports and in your scheduled reports.

Downtime Summary Report (Daily EMail Reports):

The Downtime Summary Report sends out a downtime summary, for all resources that are being monitored. Email will be sent, in html format, to the specified email id.

  1. The Status of the Downtime Summary Report is selected as Enable, by default.

  2. Select the Time, when the action has to be triggered daily.

  3. Select the email id, from the Schedule Down time Reports to listbox, to which the downtime summary report for all resources that are monitored, is to be sent. The email will be sent, in html format, to the specified email id. To configure a new email action, click on New Action, provide the EMail ID and click on Save.

  4. After configuring the above Downtime Summary Report Settings, click on the Save button.

The above report will provide you the top 20 downtime summary of all individual monitors.

Another method to Enable Reports:

  1. Click on the Reports tab and on the Business Servicess sub tab.

  2. You can enable reports, by clicking on the Enable Reports link at the top right corner.

  3. Now, follow the same steps above, to select the required attributes.
