Configure Alarms by Business Service Groups

This section is common to all the editions of IT360 - Professional Edition, Enterprise Edition [Both Central and Probes] and MSP Edition [Both Central and Probes].

Configuring Alarms is the final step in monitoring your applications or services. Once the Monitor is associated with the Business Service, Alarms can be configured through the Configure Alarms screen. This provides an overview of all the attributes of the Monitor in a Business Service, and the thresholds and actions associated with the attribute. The purpose of Global Alarms Configuration is that you can associate thresholds and actions directly rather than from the individual Monitor screen. Additionally, you can view all the thresholds and actions associated with the attributes of a Business Service / Monitor in a single screen.
