Editing/Deleting a Service Level Agreement (SLA)

Introduction:

This section is applicable only to the following edition of IT360 - MSP Edition (Central Server Only).

With IT360, you can edit/delete the SLAs, based on the availability of the managed devices. All the SLAs that were previously created will be displayed under the 'Settings' tab of the 'SLA View' page, along with the details SLA Name, Availability - % and Event Volume. You can edit or delete a SLA by clicking on the 'Edit' icon and 'Delete' link,  respectively.

Steps to Edit / Delete SLA:

You can edit or delete a SLA by following the steps below:

  1. Login to the Central.

  2. Choose the Customer, for whom you wish to create the SLA, from the 'Customers' drop down list. The page redirects to the Dashboard.

  3. Click the 'SLA' tab, and again click the 'Settings' tab in the 'SLA View' page displayed. Refer the screenshot below:

Editing the SLA:

  1. To edit the SLA, click on the icon corresponding to the SLA that you wish to edit. This opens up the 'Edit SLA' page, where the SLA details can be modified.

  2. Click 'Next', if you want to make changes in the resources associated with the SLA. Else, click 'Quit Wizard'.

  3. Once you are done with all the required modifications in the resources, click on the 'Finish' button for the changes to take effect.

Deleting the SLA:

  1. To delete an SLA, check the checkbox against the SLA Name that you wish to delete, and click the 'Delete' link.

  1. The below confirmation window is displayed:

  1. Click 'OK' to confirm deletion. You will now find that the 'SLA View' page is displayed, where the selected SLA has been deleted from the SLA list under SLA Statistics.

Editing the SLA from Home page:

You can also edit the SLAs from the Home page. Follow the below steps;

  1. Login to the Central.

  2. Under the Home tab, you will find the list of Customers displayed, along with the associated Sites.

  3. Click the icon, corresponding to the required Site, to edit the Site-based SLA details.

  4. Now, you can make the required changes in the Add SLA wizard that appears.
