Managing Partner Customers

This section is applicable only to the MSP Edition [Central only].

Partner Customers are those added under the existing Partners. Sites and Probes are the two entities associated with the Partner Customers.

Steps to Access Customer / Partner Wizard

  1. Login to IT360 - MSP Central console with the Username and Password of an Admin user.

  2. Click the Admin tab in the header pane.

  3. Click Customer / Partner under General. The Customer / Partner wizard is displayed. From here, you can perform the below tasks:

    1. Steps to Add a Partner Customer

    2. Steps to View the Created Partner Customer

    3. Steps to Edit a Partner Customer

    4. Adding Sites to the Partner Customer

    5. Associating Probes to Partner Customer Sites

    6. Steps to Delete a Site of a Partner Customer

    7. Steps to Delete a Partner Customer

1. Steps to Add a Partner Customer

Note: It is necessary to first create a partner before adding a Partner Customer.
  1. In the Partners list vew section, click the icon corresponding to the Partner Name, for whom the Customer is to be added. The Add Customer wizard is displayed.

  2. Now, configure the below details:

  1. Customer Name: The customer's name. This is a mandatory field. The maximum number of characters cannot exceed 50.

  2. Email Address: The customer's email Address. This is a mandatory field.

Note: The field Partner Name cannot be edited. It contains the name of the selected Partner, by default.

  1. Now, do any one of the following;

    • Click 'Finish' to quit from the Add Customer wizard and navigate to the Partner Customer list view, where you can view the details of the partner customer, create another customer, delete customers, or associate probes an sites to the partner customer.

    • Click 'Quit Wizard' to simply quit from the Add Customer wizard , without adding the partner customer.

    • Click 'Next' to proceed to Add Rebrand Information for the Customer.

2. Steps to View the Created Partner Customers

Now, to view the created Partner Customer, follow the below steps;

  1. In the Partners list vew section, click the icon corresponding to the Partner Name, whose Customers are to be viewed.

  2. Now, the  Customers through Partners of the selected Partner are displayed, as here.

3. Steps to Edit the Partner Customer

  1. In the Partners list vew section, click the icon corresponding to the Partner Name, whose Customer is to be edited. The Customers through the selected Partner are displayed, as shown below;

  1. Click the link of the Customer Name, whose details you want to edit.

  2. Now, you can edit the selected Partner Customer details, by following the steps.

4. Adding Sites to the Partner Customers

  1. In the Partners list view section, click the icon corresponding to the Partner Name. Now, all the Customers through the selected Partner are displayed, as here.

  2. Click the icon corresponding to the Customer Name, for whom the Sites are to be added.

  3. Now, to add the Sites, follow the same steps given for adding Sites to a Direct Customer.

5. Associating Probes to Partner Customer Sites

  1. In the Partners list vew section, click the icon corresponding to the Partner Name. Now, all the Customers through the selected Partner are displayed, as here.

  2. Click the icon corresponding to the Customer Name, with whose Site you wish to associate the Probe(s).

  3. Now, to associate the Probe(s), follow the same steps given for associating a Probe to a Site of a Direct Customer.

6. Steps to Delete a Site of a Partner Customer

  1. In the Partners list vew section, click the icon corresponding to the Partner Name. Now, all the Customers through the selected Partner are displayed, as here.

  2. Click the icon corresponding to the Customer Name, whose Sites are to be deleted. The list of all Sites under the selected Customer is displayed.

  3. Check the checkbox corresponding to the Site Name(s), which you wish to delete.

  4. Click the Delete Sites button. A confirmation window pops up. Click OK. Now, the selected Site(s) are deleted.

7. Steps to Delete a Partner Customer

  1. In the Partners list vew section, click the icon corresponding to the Partner Name. Now, all the Customers through the selected Partner are displayed, as here.

  2. Check the checkbox corresponding to the Customer Name(s), whom you wish to delete.

  3. Click the Delete Customer button. A confirmation window pops up. Click OK. Now, the selected Customer(s) are deleted.
