Installing/Uninstalling Configuration Management Plug-in

This section is applicable to the following editions of IT360 - Professional Edition, Enterprise Edition (Probes only) and MSP Edition (Probes only).

The following are discussed here:

1. Installing the Configuration Management Plug-in

If your requirement is to install the Configuration Management plug-in newly, the below installation requirements need to be satisfied:

1.1 Installation Platform

The Configuration Management plug-in supports only Windows installations.

1.2 Ports Used

Note: Before you begin with the installation:

i) Make sure you should have IT360 10100 build or later.
ii) Ensure that the Destination Folder is: "\IT360_Home\networks".
iii) Make sure the Networks module is down, while the IT360 database is up.

1.3 Steps:

  1. Download the Configuration Management plug-in from this website.

  2. Stop the IT360 Networks service.

  3. Double click the plug-in exe file and install it on the IT360 installed machine, as per the on-screen instructions.

  4. Provide your Name, E–mail ID, Company Name, etc, in order to register for it360-eval@manageengine.com

  5. Click Finish to complete the installation.

  6. Once the installation is complete, start the IT360 Networks service.

2. Steps to Uninstall the Configuration Management Plug-in

  1. Go to Control Panel and open Add/Remove Programs.

  2. Select the Configuration Management (NCM) plug-in and click the Change/Remove button.

  3. Click Yes to confirm the uninstallation of the plug-in.

  4. Click Finish. The plug-in will be uninstalled successfully.
