Note:
-
All the editions can be installed in a VMWare environment. In such case, Dynamic Resource Balancing should be turned off by configuring Distributed Resource Scheduler (DRS), appropriately in the ESX/VM level. This is for DRS to be included under the VM.
- The server, where IT360 is going to be installed, should not contain the symbol underscore [ _ ] in its HostName.
| Note: If you use underscore [ _ ], you will not be able to access certain services on TCP/IP networks, as it may affect IT360 service startup. |
-
If you plan to use the Failover option, it is recommended to use Microsoft SQL as the backend database.
-
If you want to run the IT360 Batch files, and if you are using Windows Server 2008, then make sure of the following:
Refer the Microsoft SQL Configuration document for more information.
