Steps to configure SAML SSO for Calendly
About Calendly
Calendly is a cloud-based scheduling and meeting management platform that automates the process of booking appointments and meetings. It eliminates back-and-forth emails by letting users share personalized booking links that sync with their calendars to display real-time availability.
The following steps will help you enable SSO for Calendly software from Identity360.
Prerequisites
- The MFA and SSO license for Identity360 is required to enable SSO for enterprise applications.
- Log in to Identity360 as an Admin, Super Admin, or Technician with a role that has Application Integration and Single Sign-on permissions.
- Navigate to Applications > Application Integration > Create New Application, and select Calendly from the applications displayed.
Note: You can also find Calendly from the search bar located at the top.
- Under the General Settings tab, enter the Application Name and Description.
- Under the Choose Capabilities tab, select Single Sign-on and click Continue.

- Under Integration Settings, navigate to the Single Sign On tab, click IdP Details. Copy the Login URL, Entity ID, and Signing Certificate values. Download the Signing Certificate. These will be used later during the configuration in Calendly.

Calendly (service provider) configuration steps
- Log in to Calendly as a owner or administrator.
- Go to Admin center > Login > Single sign-on.
- Under Step 1, enter your IdP details.
- In the Entity ID field, paste the Entity ID value copied from step 6 of prerequisites.
- In the Identity provider's SAML HTTP Request URL field, paste the Login URL value copied from step 6 of prerequisites.
- In the X.509 certificate for SAML authentication field, paste the Signing Certificate value copied from step 6 of prerequisites.
- Alternatively, you can upload the Signing Certificate downloaded in step 6 of prerequisites by clicking Upload certificate.
- Click Save & continue.
- You will be presented with a list of Calendly values. Copy the Audience URL and ACS URL values, which will be used during Identity360 configuration.
- Turn on Enable SSO for yourself.
- Select Test connection.
Note:
- If the test works, you'll see a success banner.
- If it fails, check that:
- The user’s IdP email matches their Calendly email.
- The attributes in your IdP are mapped correctly.
- In Calendly, select Enforce SAML SSO for my organization, then choose Apply.
Identity360 (identity provider) configuration steps
- Switch to Identity360's application configuration page.
- In the ACS URL field, paste the ACS URL value copied in step 9 of Calendly configuration.
- In the Entity ID field, copy the Audience URL copied in step 9 of Calendly configuration.
- Enter the Relay State parameter, if necessary.
Note: Relay State is an optional parameter used with a SAML message to remember where you were or to direct you to a specific page after logging in.
- Click Save.

Your users will now be able to sign in to Calendly through the Identity360 portal.
Note: For Calendly, both IdP and SP-initiated flows are supported.
Steps to enable MFA for Calendly
Setting up MFA for Calendly using Identity360 involves the following steps:
- Set up one or more authenticators for identity verification when users attempt to log in to Way We Do. Identity360 supports various authenticators, including Google Authenticator, Zoho OneAuth, and email-based verification codes. Click here for steps to set up the different authenticators.
