Deprecation and obsolescence


Deprecated features

Deprecated features should not be used in new versions. The features are in maintenance mode only. It will continue to be supported till a notice of obsolescence is published or till that product version reaches End of Support (EOS).

Following are the list of features that are deprecated in Applications Manager:

Publish dashboard unauthenticated with insecure publish keyPreviously, publish dashboard endpoint was unauthenticated along with an easily guessable publish key encoding. Now, publish dashboard endpoint is replaced with a secure publish key.  

Obsolete features

An obsoleted feature is a component/feature that is no longer supported.
