Configuring Proxy Server Settings

This section is common to all the editions of IT360 - Professional Edition, Enterprise Edition (Both the Central Server and at the Probes) and the MSP Edition (Both the Central Server and at the Probes).

Any Business Enterprise has a Proxy server to optimize its connectivity to the Internet and to filter access to restricted websites. In IT360, you need to provide the Proxy server details of your enterprise, to monitor URLs over the internet.

Steps to Configure Proxy Settings

  1. Login to IT360 console with the Username and Password of an Admin user.

  2. Click the Admin tab in the header pane.

  3. Click Connectivity under General.

  4. Click the Proxy Server tab. Do the following.

  5. Check the Disable Proxy checkbox, if you do not want to configure proxy, else leave the checkbox unchecked and proceed to configure the below details.

  6. Enter the Server address and the Port number, in which the Web service is running on the proxy server.

  7. Enter the UserName and Password to authenticate the proxy server.

Note: In the case of a Domain user, add a '+' symbol between the DomainName and the UserName, i.e., domainname+username, e.g., zohocorp+test-0170.
  1. For the devices that do not require to go through a proxy, check the Bypass Proxy for Local Address checkbox and specify the Name or IP Address of the devices, as comma separated values, in the No Proxy required for selected IP Address / Host Name field.

  2. Click Save.
