With this integration administrators can centrally view desktop assets along with other IT and non-IT assets, as well as automate ticket management workflows, specifically for desktops within IT360's unified console. Customers can expect following from this integration:
Single sign-on: No need to maintain different accounts for desktop administration and NOC activities. However, roles with access privileges can always be created for restricted access.
Centralized asset inventory: All asset types, be it backend infrastructure such as network devices or desktops, can be managed from a centralized asset inventory.
Enhanced efficiency and productivity: All IT management information converging into a single tool. Desktop users can raise service requests, and technicians can fulfill the requests from the same console.
360-degree ITIL implementation: All IT assets can be configured into a common configuration management database, so assets can be managed from one console.
The 9.0.6 release adds support for vCenter monitoring. Customers can now have a centralized view of their entire VMware infrastructure. The VMware infrastructure will be automatically categorized into components such as Datacenter, Cluster, ESX/ESXi hosts, VMs, etc. Once you discover the virtual infrastructure, you can easily track the availability, health and performance metrics of its various components.
IT360 with this latest release also comes with enhanced End-user-monitoring capabilities, with monitoring capabilities going beyond just Real-browser monitor. IT360's end-user monitoring module now includes:includes DNS Monitor, LDAP Server, Mail Server and Ping Monitor.
On the service management side, the latest version has done enhancements in integrated CMDB section by enabling features to create Configuration item types (CI types) and relationship types. Service catalog also gets a push with support for multi-level approval stages for service request.
