How to generate an API key in ServiceDesk Plus?
OpManager integrates with ManageEngine ServiceDesk (SDP) via API. This integration allows technicians to log critical alarms raised in OPM as tickets in ServiceDesk to track those tickets and maintain ITIL standards.
Steps to generate an API key (Technician Key) in SDP:
- Login to ServiceDesk Plus UI.
- Click on the username on the top right and select API Generation option.
- In the popup window Select the option Never Expires and then click Generate.
- API key is now generated and you can copy the key to a notepad.
