Objective : Clean up users with empty employeeId attribute

ADManager plus allows you to identify users with empty employeeId attribute and delete them manually or automatically.

Steps to remove users with empty employeeId manually.

  1. Logon to ADManager Plus.
  2. Click AD Reports tab.
  3. In User Reports section, click Users with Empty Attributes link.
  4. Select the domain of your choice and select employeeId from the Empty Atrribute list section.
  5. Set the desired selection criteria based on your preferences. Click 'Generate'.
  6. Select any number of users from the report and click 'Delete'.

Steps to remove users with empty employeeID using automation

  1. Click Automation tab.
  2. Select Create New Automation.
  3. Enter a suitable 'Automation Name' and 'Description' in the text box provided.
  4. Under Automation Category, select User Automation. Select the domain from the drop down list and if necessary, select the OU.
  5. Under Automation Task/Policy, select 'Delete Users'.
  6. Choose Users with empty attributes in the 'From Report' section and add 'Employee ID'. Add conditions if necessary to refine the results. Click 'OK'.
  7. Specify the time/interval at which the task should be run in the 'Execution Time' section. Click 'Save'.
