Help desk role creation to modify distribution group membership

Solution: ADManager Plus allows you to create a help desk role to modify the group membership through AD Delegation.

  • Click AD Delegation tab.
  • Select Help Desk Roles from the left navigation section.
  • Click Create New Role button from the top right corner.
  • Enter the Role name and the Description in the text box provided.
  • In the AD Management tab, select Group Management from the left navigation pane.
  • Under Bulk Group Modification, select Accessible Groups' Type and click on the icon to add the property Distribution.
  • Click Save Role.
