How to Configure Google Workspace Accounts using ADManager Plus?

Objective: To create Google Workspace, formerly Google Workspace, user account for users using ADManager Plus

Solution: ADManager Plus' user creation templates have an exclusive Google Workspace section which allow you to create a Google Workspace account for users, right while creating their Active Directory (AD) user accounts.

Steps to configure Google Workspace user accounts using ADManager Plus

Before proceeding to create Google Workspace user accounts, configure Google Workspace settings in ADManager Plus under the Admin tab, using these steps. This will allow ADManager Plus to connect to your Google Workspace environment to create user accounts.

1. Go to Management tab.
2. In the User Management section, select Create Single User option from User Creation.
3. Select the domain in which the user's AD account has to be created.
4. Select the desired user creation template.
5. From the options displayed just above the template, select Active Directory and Google Workspace.
6. Enter the desired values for all the attributes in the General, Account, Exchange, and all the desired tabs.
7. In the Google Workspace tab,
   • -Use the edit icon placed beside Google Workspace group, and select the desired groups for the user.
   • - Click the edit icon placed beside Google Workspace organizational unit, to pick an OU for this user account.
   As mentioned earlier, the Google Workspace option will be displayed only if the Google Workspace settings in ADManager Plus' Admin tab are configured properly.
8. After entering the values for all the necessary attributes in the desired tab, click Create.
