How to Create Mail Enabled Contacts in Exchange?

Objective: Create mail enabled contact objects in Active Directory

Steps:

  1. Navigate to Management > Contact Management > Create Single Contact..
  2. Select the Domain where the contact needs to be created and Contact Creation Template, if any.
  3. Enter the contact object details like the full name, location of the contact, display name, office, etc in the General tab.
  4. Similarly, enter the necessary details in the Address, Group and Organization tabs respectively.
  5. In the Exchange tab, select the Mail Enabled Contact radio button. Configure the alias email, additional email address and delivery restriction settings.
  6. You can also configure custom attributes in the Custom Attributes tab, if any.
  7. Click Create to finish.
