How to list all users with their Terminal Service properties

Objective: To get users' Terminial Services properties from Active Directory

Solution: ADManager Plus' built-in reports library includes the users' Terminal Services properties report, which makes it possible to list users' Terminal Services properties at just the click of a mouse button. This is just the opposite of PowerShell when it comes to ease of use and simplicity; you do not need to have significant scripting and AD knowledge, or spend time scripting to generate AD reports.

The following steps will explain how to generate AD users' Terminal Services properties report.

• Click the Reports tab.
• Go to Terminal Service Reports.
• Click the Users' Terminal Services Properties report.
• Select the desired AD domains.
• To restrict this report for users of specific OUs, click the Add OUs link and select the desired OUs.
• Click Generate to view the report.

This report will list users' properties for Terminal Services, such as whether the TS logon is allowed, their TS profile path, TS home drive, remote home directory, and remote session limit, in addition to other general attributes like OU, logon name, etc.

Besides listing users' Terminal Services properties, this report also allows administrators to:

Export the report: Based on their need, administrators can export this report in either CSV, PDF, HTML or Excel format, at just the click of a button.

Schedule the report generation:Administrators can use the built-in report scheduler to generate and email the reports, at the set times or intervals automatically.

Manage AD users right from the report: Using the built-in options in this report, administrators can easily perform AD user management operations such as password reset, account unlock, modify users' TS properties such as their session limits, create and manage Exchange mailboxes, etc. for the desired users on-the-fly, right from the report
