How to generate reports of users with Terminal Server access

Objective: To find all Active Directory (AD) users who have the Terminal Server (TS) access permission configured for them.

Solution: ADManager Plus' prebuilt Terminal Server (TS) access reports allows you to get the list of all AD users with remote access, easily, with just mouse-clicks. Unlike PowerShell, you do not have to struggle with lines of codes to generate remote user access report.

This report will list all AD users with remote access or TS access, along with TS user access permissions, properties like the TS profile server path, home drive, etc., and other details like their department, manager name, OU, and more.

Steps to generate the users with Terminal Server access reports using ADManager Plus,

• Click the Reports tab.
• Go to Terminal Service Reports
• Click the Users with Terminal Access report
• Select the AD domains for which you wish to generate this report.
• If you wish to restrict the scope of this report to only specific OUs, click the Add OUs link and select the desired OUs.
• Click Generate to view the report.

Other options in this report:

On-the-fly management AD user management: Right from this report, you can perform user management actions like password reset, enabling/disabling users, modifying their Terminal Service attributes, Exhange mailbox settings, and more, for the desired users in the report.

Report export: You can export the report in different formats such as PDF, Excel, CSV, and PDF.

Report scheduler: This allows you to generate the report automatically, at your preferred times, and email them to multiple users, or even store them in a network share.
