How to Integrate Servicedesk Plus with ADManager Plus?

Objective: To integrate ServiceDesk Plus, a complete help desk management tool, with ADManager Plus. This integration will empower ServiceDesk Plus technicians to carry out Active Directory management operations from within the tool's console.

Solution: ADManager Plus offers out-of-the-box integration with ServiceDesk Plus to allow help desk technicians to manage AD user accounts from within their help desk console.

Steps to integrate ADManager Plus with ServiceDesk Plus:

  1. Click the Admin tab.
  2. From System Settings, select Integrations.
  3. In the Integration Settings page, click ServiceDesk Plus from the list of applications shown.
  4. Enter the name of the machine or server in which your ServiceDesk Plus server is running and its port number in the 'Server where ServiceDesk Plus is running', and 'Service Desk server port number' fields.
  5. Select the desired protocol, HTTP or HTTPS, as per the settings on the ServiceDesk Plus server.
  6. Turn on the 'Enable tight integration with ServiceDesk Plus' option, to carry out AD and Exchange mailbox management operations from ServiceDesk Plus.
  7. Click Test Connection and Save.
Note: To enable this integration from ServiceDesk Plus, in the ME integrations settings, add ADManager Plus server name, port number and the desired protocol.
