Why does the Java.exe use a high amount of RAM on servers?

The high RAM utilization by the Java.exe used in ADManager Plus could be due to various factors.

Some possible reasons:

  • There could be a number parallel sessions, scheduled reports, automations or synchronization happening at a particular moment.
  • More number of attributes are selected in reports
  • Many multi-DC reports are generated simultaneously.

Solution:

  1. Try to avoid running reports or automation schedules, in parallel, and also try to have sufficient time intervals in between.
  2. Check if you have any of the possible scenarios or reasons in your environment, and take appropriate measures like reducing the number of parallel schedules.
