AWS Trusted Advisor is an AWS service that inspects your AWS environment and provides real-time recommendations to help you follow AWS best practices across five categories: cost optimization, performance, security, fault tolerance, and service limits. It continuously analyzes your resource configurations and usage to help you reduce costs, improve system performance and reliability, and close security gaps.
Applications Manager's AWS Trusted Advisor monitoring tool provides centralized visibility into the health and compliance posture of your AWS account. By tracking key metrics such as check counts by status (action recommended, investigation recommended, and no problem detected) and per-check resource details, the tool enables teams to proactively address flagged issues, monitor trends over time, and maintain alignment with AWS best practices.
Note: AWS Trusted Advisor monitoring requires an AWS account with a Business or Enterprise Support plan. This monitor uses the AWS Support API global endpoint and is not available for accounts on the Basic or Developer Support plans or in China regions.
