Azure Automation Account is a cloud-based automation service in Microsoft Azure that helps automate operational tasks using runbooks, update management, and hybrid workers. It enables organizations to automate and manage processes across Azure and hybrid environments.
Applications Manager's Azure Automation Account monitoring provides visibility into automation job activity, update deployment operations, and hybrid worker connectivity, helping ensure your Automation Accounts operate reliably.

Note: To enable Azure Automation Account monitoring, navigate to 'Edit Monitor' and choose 'Automation Accounts' from Azure Services, then update the monitor.
Navigate to the Category View by clicking the Monitors tab. Hover over Child Monitors under Microsoft Azure in the Cloud Apps table, and then select the Automation Accounts monitor from the displayed tooltip. This action displays the bulk configuration view for Azure Automation Account in three tabs:
The Microsoft Azure monitor provides a brief detail of the Azure Automation Account under the given subscription. The following metrics are monitored in the corresponding tabs:

| Public Network Access | Indicates whether public network access is enabled or disabled for the Automation Account. |
| Creation Date | The date and time when the Azure Automation Account was created. |
It allows us to track crucial metrics such as response times, resource utilization, error rates, and transaction performance. The real-time monitoring alerts promptly notify us of any issues or anomalies, enabling us to take immediate action.
