SQL Jobs Monitoring

SQLDBManager Plus pulls information on Job Details such as Job Name, Current Status, Last Run Status, Run Date and Time, Job Time, Retries Attempted and Health. The DBA can also configure alarm for a particular Job running in the database. By clicking on each job, SQLDBManager Plus gives in-depth information such as Run Date and Time, Step ID, Step Name, Duration, etc for each Job running in the database. These information about Jobs Details allows DBAs to identify if automated tasks are executed properly as planned. This saves DBAs a lot of time and effort instead of monitoring them manually.

  • Last Run Status of the Job

  • Health

The DBA can manage SQL Jobs right from SQLDBManager Plus console. Via SQLDBManager Plus console, the DBA can easily create, edit, start, stop, delete or disable an exisiting SQL Jobs running in the database. This makes it a lot easier for the DBA to configure jobs and even make quick edits to it. SQLDBManager Plus also allows the DBA to configure alarm for the Job in case any of the steps involved in the job did not run as intended.

For more information on how to create a job via SQLDBManager Plus, refer to online documentation of SQL Job management.
