Lakeland Dairies is one of Ireland's largest dairy cooperatives, with a heritage spanning over 100 years. The farmer-owned cooperative processes more than two billion litres of milk each year, supplied by 3,200 family farms across the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. It also exports a wide range of foodservice, ingredients, and consumer dairy products to around 100 countries worldwide.
Lakeland Dairies began its journey with ServiceDesk Plus more than 15 years ago, starting with just a couple of users and growing to over 40 technicians today. As the cooperative grew, ServiceDesk Plus became the foundation its IT team built the rest of its operations around, extending the service desk with tightly integrated solutions rather than disconnected point products, all sharing a common look and feel that keeps the team efficient.
With one connected environment anchored by ServiceDesk Plus, Lakeland Dairies has been able to reduce costs, get more from every tool, and keep its IT lean while supporting a dynamic, growing business.
Watch as Gerry Forde, group IT operations manager at Lakeland Dairies, shares how ServiceDesk Plus has supported the cooperative's IT journey and helped the team do more with less.

"There were synergies from the help desk [ServiceDesk Plus] to move into [other ManageEngine] products. We have the one pane of glass, the same look and feel for a user, so it was easy to train and easy to move people around in different roles."
