Data processing

Data processing is the operation of converting raw data into usable information. Raw data could be from any source and would usually be in large volumes, such as telemetry data from industrial equipment sensors in a factory. Typically, data scientists process the raw data through several steps—collection, preparation, input, processing, interpretation, and storage—to derive actionable insights.
