Instructions to apply Service Pack

  • 1Shut down M365 Manager Plus:
    • If the product is running as an application, click Start > All Programs > M365 Manager Plus > Stop M365 Manager Plus.
    • If the product is running as a Windows service, click Start > Run. Type services.msc and stop ManageEngine M365 Manager Plus.
  • 2Execute the stopDB.bat file stored in the <M365 Manager Plus>\bin directory.
  • 3Back up M365 Manager Plus by zipping the contents of the <M365 Manager Plus> directory.
  • 4If you're using Microsoft SQL Server, take a backup of the database.
  • 5Open Command Prompt as an administrator and execute the UpdateManager.bat file stored in the <M365 Manager Plus>\bin directory.
  • 6Click Browse and select the service pack (.ppm) file that you downloaded.
  • 7Click Install. Depending on the amount of data to be migrated, the installation procedure might take a few minutes. Please do not terminate the process prematurely. The certificate required to verify the service pack's integrity will be automatically imported by the product.

    If the automatic certificate import process fails, please import the certificate manually. Otherwise, click Close and then Exit to quit the Update Manager tool.

  • 8Start M365 Manager Plus:
    • If the product runs as an application, click Start > All Programs > M365 Manager Plus > Start M365 Manager Plus.
    • If the product runs as a Windows service, click Start > Run. Type services.msc and start ManageEngine M365 Manager Plus.

Steps to import the security certificate

  • 1Click on the link based on your current build number from the table below to initiate the download process of the appropriate security certificate.

  • 2Open Command Prompt as an administrator and execute the UpdateManager.bat file in the <M365 Manager Plus>\bin directory.
  • 3Open the certificate import tool by clicking Import Certificate button located in the top-right corner.

  • 4Select the certificate by clicking the Browse button.

  • 5Next, select Import to pull in the certificate and proceed with step 6 from the Instructions to apply Service Pack section.

  1. If you need to apply more than one service pack, follow the same instructions for each installation.

How do I find my current build number?

  • Log in to the M365 Manager Plus web client.
  • Click on the License link at the top right corner.
  • Find the Build number.
