How to configure DHCP server for PXE?

DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) server is a default gateway that assigns the IP address to all the machines in the network. Manage Engine OS Deployer PXE server runs as a windows service with Endpoint Central/OS Deployer server. It is required to configure the network DHCP server with PXE server details. The target client machines will be connecting with the DHCP server to check for machine IP details where the PXE server (TFTP server) is hosted. This PXE server will run once the product server starts. This document will help you configure PXE in the DHCP server.

Configure PXE in the DHCP server by clicking on the server that you are using,

• Infoblox DHCP server
• Cisco DHCP server
• Fortigate DHCP server
• Huawei DHCP server
• PFsense DHCP server
