Fetch OWA reports using ADManager Plus
More organizations are adopting Microsoft Outlook Web Access (OWA) to conveniently manage their mailboxes. Since OWA no longer requires users to be within the network to access emails, administrators have to be wary of the logon activity of users to detect and flag any suspicious activity. Using the reporting capabilities of ADManager Plus, you can easily generate and export OWA-based reports in multiple formats.
Using ADManager Plus, you can access the following OWA-specific reports:
- OWA Logon Users
- OWA Attachment Policies
- OWA Attachment Policy by Users
- Address Book Policies
- Address Book Policy by Users
OWA logon by users
Gives the last logon time of OWA users along with number of days since last logon to keep track of their logon activity.
OWA attachment policies
Lists the policies along with allowed and blocked attachment types.
OWA attachment policy by users
Provides the list of all users in your Microsoft 365 account, their attachment policies, if OWA is enabled or not, the type of mailbox each user has, and more.
Address book policies
Presents information on Address Book Policies (ABP), Offline Address Book (OAB), date of creation and modification of each policy, and more.
Address book policy by users
Shows the list of all users in the Microsoft 365 environment along with the address book policy that applies to each user. It also provides information on the type of mailbox assigned to each user.
- Log in to ADManager Plus.
- Go to Microsoft 365 → Reports → Exchange Online → OWA Reports.
- Choose your desired OWA report, select the Microsoft 365 tenant account, and click Generate
Besides Microsoft 365 OWA reporting capability, you can obtain reports on Microsoft 365 users, groups, contacts, licenses, and mailboxes from the same console. In addition to reporting, you can also manage licenses, configure MFA settings, create and manage groups and contacts, and configure Exchange Online mailbox settings in bulk.
Benefits of using ADManager Plus for Microsoft 365 OWA reporting
- Obtain in-depth OWA-specific reports without PowerShell scripts.
