1. PDA Integration
• Supervisors can be connected to the FacilitiesDesk system through their PDAs
• Get connected to internet and access the system URL

2. LDAP Integration
• Import User information from LDAP (Light Weight Directory Access Protocol)
• Keep your FacilitiesDesk (Link to Facilities Operation Management Page) database in sync with the these Directory Database
• Supervisors can login in to FacilitiesDesk through LDAP Authentication
• LDAP is for both Windows and Linux Users, while AD (integration) which is already available was only for Windows users
• If LDAP is enabled with FacilitiesDesk AD will be disabled
• Recommended to use any one of these network domain services
3. Restrict/Allow customization of user login creation through incoming mails (Settings available in Self-Service Portal under Admin)
4. E-Mail parsing is now an option in FacilitiesDesk. Reduces supervisors time in sorting a work request
5. Maintenance Management is now Work Order Management. Not just maintenance breakdown requests, any request pertaining to facilities and operation management in your company can be raised managed with this feature
