This document lists the TCP ports that are required to be open, to ensure that there is uninterrupted communication between the agent and Browser Security Plus server.

• 8020: Used for communication between the agent and server
• 8027: The notification server port is responsible for communicating on-demand operations from the server to the agent
• 8383: For communication between the agent or distribution server and the Browser Security server (secure mode)
• 8384: For communication between (remote)agent and distribution server

Ports 135,139 and 445 should also be kept open for pushing agent installation on both agent and server.

Note: The ports mentioned above are default ports that are used by the Browser Security Plus software. However you can opt to have port numbers of your choice. Click here for more details on how to change ports.
