This integration enables IT Administrators to perceive comprehensive data in real time and formulate a strategy to avoid unforeseen complications. This capability of Endpoint Central leverages ManageEngine Analytics plus to gather data from agent machines and design a strategy with this tool to counter attacks hindrance experiencing minimum downtime.
Note: It is not mandatory to have your Endpoint Central integrated with Analytics plus to perform this task.
To achieve this,
Download and Install ManageEngine Analytics Plus in your business network.
Download the AnalyticsPreset.ps1 script in the Analytics Plus server machine
Run this script in the PowerShell environment with
ManageEngine Analytics Plus server name
ManageEngine Analytics Plus server port number
ManageEngine Analytics Plus Admin email
Manageengine Analytics Plus Auth token as arguments.
To generate an Auth token, logon to Analytics plus console and navigate to '?' > Product Info > REST API > Enter your login password > Generate token.
Once this script is executed, a workspace is created in the Analytics Plus console. Admins can access this workspace to view their managed network data.
Once the initial setup is completed, import templates into your ManageEngine Analytics Plus console for an enhanced and unified view.
To import your template, navigate to Analytics Plus console > Workspace (example: endpointcentral Endpoint Analytics) > create > Import from template > file upload. Upload the Endpoint_Analytics.atpt file here.
To gather the data needed and post it on your Analytics Plus dashboard, deploy a script from Endpoint Central server to the targeted machines.
Download and upload the DCAnalyticsSync.ps1 to the Endpoint Central server and deploy the same with
ManageEngine Analytics Plus server name
ManageEngine Analytics Plus server port number
ManageEngine Analytics Plus Admin email
Manageengine Analytics Plus Auth token as arguments
to the targeted machines.
This script will automatically fetch data from the targeted machines and post the data to the Analytics Plus server as well. Admins can view the data in Analytics Plus dashboard by navigating to home page > Endpoint Analytics > Dashboard view.
Users can share the graphics either as a view or export as a pdf via email.
Note:To achieve seamless workflow between agents and servers, it is recommended to use a vpn connection for remote workforce and roaming users.
