Product life cycle plan- End of support

This page contains information on the support lifecycle of each version of M365 Manager Plus. After every major release, we support the previous version for a considerable period, allowing users to plan their upgradation or migration effectively. After a version reaches its End of Support, it will no longer receive technical support or security updates from M365 Manager Plus.

End of support details

A support lifecycle denotes the period from when a version is available for download to when it is no longer supported by M365 Manager Plus. When a version reaches its EOS, M365 Manager Plus no longer provides security updates, non-security updates, features, enhancements or technical support. Shortly after a new version is released, an EOS announcement is made for the older versions on this page. We declare EOS to replace the older versions with a better and more secure version of M365 Manager Plus. EOS will be announced 6 months prior to the effective retirement date so that the users can plan and execute the version upgradation accordingly. M365 Manager Plus strongly encourages users running the older version to shift to the latest version.

M365 Manager Plus will not be liable for any security or performance issues caused by EOS versions. M365 Manager Plus' ability to deliver a seamless experience depends on your cooperation to upgrade to the latest version whenever it is available.

Drawbacks of staying on EOS versions

Organizations that continue to use EOS versions are more prone to unpatched vulnerabilities and may face increased security risks.
EOS versions may not be as feature-rich as its successor.
EOS versions are susceptible to cause compliance issues over time.
EOS versions can incur high operational costs - through data breach or lost revenue from downtime.

1. What is the purpose of EOS Policy?

EOS Policy is intended purely for the benefit of M365 Manager Plus customers to gain value for their spending on us. As business needs evolve, we update our versions to provide a better service with time. We expect our users to fully cooperate and upgrade to the latest version.

2. For how long will a version be fully supported?

From the time of a version's release, it will be fully supported for a minimum of 36 months or more. As new versions are released, previous versions are supported for a certain period of time, then pushed to End of Support.

3. How ahead of the EOS date will the announcement be made?

EOS of a version will be announced 6 months before its last support date. This way, users will be able to use this time to plan and execute the upgradation process.

4. Is the update free of cost?

Yes, all the updates are free - provided you have Annual Maintenance and Support for the current period.
