Objective: Create a user by copying attributes from existing users

Solution:

The Copy User Attributes feature in ADManager Plus simplifies the user provisioning process by letting you copy the attributes of existing user accounts and use them to create new user accounts. You can choose to copy all the attributes or only attributes specific as per your requirement. Besides user creation, the Copy User Attributes option also simplifies:

• User modification
• Creation and modification of user templates

Steps to use the Copy User Attributes option for creating a new user:

1. Logon to ADManager Plus and navigate to the Management tab.
2. Click on the Create Single User option under the User Management section.
3. Click on the Copy User Attributes button.
4. To copy all the attributes of a selected user account:
   1. Select the user whose attributes you wish to copy. Click Copy.
5. To copy only the selected attributes
   1. Click on the Select Attributes icon located near the display name of the user.
   2. Click on the Attributes to Copy drop down menu and select the attributes to be copied from categories such as General, Contacts, and more.
   3. Click on Apply.
