- List all the dynamic distribution groups in Office 365
- Identify the members of dynamic distribution groups
Dynamic distribution groups are email-enabled Active Directory (AD) group objects that are created to allow sending of email messages to a target group within a network. While distribution groups have predefined sets of members, the members for dynamic distribution groups vary based on the filters and conditions that can be set.
Monitoring dynamic distribution groups using native tools can be challenging. ADManager Plus simplifies it for IT administrators as they can view all dynamic distribution groups in their Microsoft 365 environment and their respective members in the form of reports. You can schedule these reports to be sent to the IT administrators inbox periodically for reviewing the permissions. The reports can also be exported in multiple formats such as HTML, PDF, XLS, and CSV.
Using ADManager Plus, the following information on Microsoft 365 dynamic distribution groups can be obtained without any PowerShell scripts:
- Details on group conditions that must be met to be a member of that group.
- List of all users who are members of dynamic distribution groups.

ADManager Plus provides out-of-the-box reports that can fetch information for individual Office 365 tenant accounts. Besides that, you can also provision Office 365 accounts, manage user licenses, and perform a wide variety of user, group, contact, and mailbox modification actions.
