Integrating ADManager Plus app with Zendesk

The ADManager Plus-Zendesk integration enables IT service desk technicians to create user accounts in Active Directory (AD), Office 365, Exchange Server, Skype for Business or Lync, and G Suite, simultaneously. Help desk technicians can also reset passwords, enable or disable, unlock and delete user accounts, right from within the Zendesk console.

Steps to integrate ADManager Plus app with Zendesk

  1. Existing ADManager Plus users.
  2. New to ADManager Plus.

If you are already an ADManager Plus user, follow these steps:

Please update your ADManager Plus installation to the latest version.

  1. Log in to Zendesk.
  2. Download the ADManager Plus app from apps marketplace.
  3. Click the ADManager Plus icon from the navigation pane on the left side of the console.
  4. Download and install ADManager Plus.
  5. Specify the ADManager Plus server URL in it.

    Note: Ensure that the version of ADManager Plus server that you install is 6631 or above. Else update to the latest version.

  6. Enter the administrator's credentials to complete the integration.

    Note: Integration with Zendesk is possible only for ADManager Plus versions 6631 and above. But we recommend that you update to the latest version of ADManager Plus to reap the benefits of ADManager Plus-Zendesk integration completely.

If you are new to ADManager Plus, follow these steps:

  1. Download and install ADManager Plus, in case you already haven't.
    • Download the latest version of ADManager Plus from here.
    • Follow these steps to install ADManager Plus.
  2. Download and configure ADManager Plus app in Zendesk.
    • Log in to Zendesk.
    • Download ADManager Plus app from apps marketplace.
    • Click the ADManager Plus icon from the navigation pane on the left side of the console.
    • Download and install ADManager Plus.
    • Specify the ADManager Plus server URL in it.

      Note: Ensure that version of ADManager Plus server that you install is 6631 or above. Else update to the latest version.

  3. Enter the administrator's credentials to complete the integration.
