Microsoft Azure Event Hub Cluster/Event Hub Namespace

Microsoft Azure Event Hub Cluster/Event Hub Namespace - An Overview

Microsoft Azure Event Hubs is a big data streaming platform and event ingestion service that can receive and process millions of events per second. It is part of the Azure Big Data ecosystem and is designed to handle real-time event streaming and telemetry ingestion scenarios.

An Azure Event Hub Cluster monitoring tool / Azure Event Hub Namespace monitoring tool is crucial to experience the platform at it's highest potential. Use Applications Manager to maintain your event streaming infrastructure's health, performance, and reliability.

Monitored Parameters

Navigate to the Category View by clicking the Monitors tab. Hover over 'Child Monitors' under Microsoft Azure in the Cloud Apps table, and then select the Event Hub Clusters (or) Event Hub Namespaces monitor from the displayed tooltip. This action will display the bulk configuration view for Azure Event Hub Cluster/Azure Event Hub Namespace in three tabs:

  • Availability tab gives the Availability history for the past 24 hours or 30 days.
  • Performance tab gives the Health Status and events for the past 24 hours or 30 days.
  • List view enables you to perform bulk admin configurations.

The Microsoft Azure monitor provides a brief detail of the Azure Event Hub Cluster/Azure Event Hub Namespace under the given subscription. Following are the list of metrics monitored in Azure Event Hub Cluster monitoring tool/Azure Event Hub Namespace monitoring tool in their corresponding tabs:

Note: Azure Event Hub Cluster monitoring is supported for Azure Gov Cloud accounts from Applications Manager v173000.
