Microsoft Azure IoT Hub Monitoring

Microsoft Azure IoT Hub - An Overview

Azure IoT Hub is a managed cloud service that acts as a central message hub for bidirectional communication between IoT applications and the devices it manages at scale. Applications Manager's Azure IoT Hub monitoring helps you track device-to-cloud and cloud-to-device message throughput, connected device counts, telemetry routing health, twin operation rates, and job execution metrics so you can maintain reliable IoT pipelines.

Creating a new Microsoft Azure IoT Hub Monitor

To learn how to create a new Microsoft Azure IoT Hub monitor, click here.

Monitored Parameters

Navigate to the Category View by clicking the Monitors tab. Hover over 'Child Monitors' under Microsoft Azure in the Cloud Apps table, and then select the IoT Hubs monitor from the displayed tooltip. This action will display the bulk configuration view for Microsoft Azure IoT Hub in three tabs:

  • Availability tab gives the availability history for the past 24 hours or 30 days.
  • Performance tab gives the health status and events for the past 24 hours or 30 days.
  • List view tab enables you to perform bulk admin configurations.
