Microsoft Azure Maps Account - An Overview

Azure Maps is a collection of geospatial services and SDKs that provide mapping and location capabilities for web and mobile applications. Applications Manager's Azure Maps Account monitoring tracks API availability, API usage, and Creator storage usage to help you monitor resource consumption and identify potential service issues early.

Monitored Parameters

Navigate to the Category View by clicking the Monitors tab. Hover over 'Child Monitors' under Microsoft Azure in the Cloud Apps table, and then select the Maps Accounts monitor from the displayed tooltip. This action will display the bulk configuration view for Microsoft Azure Maps Account in three tabs:

  • Availability tab gives the availability history for the past 24 hours or 30 days.
  • Performance tab gives the health status and events for the past 24 hours or 30 days.
  • List view tab enables you to perform bulk admin configurations.

API AvailabilityThe average API availability of the Azure Maps Account between the poll intervals (in %).
API USAGE
API Usage RateThe number of API calls per minute to the Azure Maps Account between the poll intervals (in requests/min).
API UsageThe number of API calls made to the Azure Maps Account between the poll intervals.
CREATOR USAGE
Creator UsageThe average Creator resource usage for the Azure Maps Account between the poll intervals (in MB).

Resource Group NameThe name of the Azure resource group that contains the Maps account.
LocationThe Azure region where the Maps account is deployed.
Provisioning StateThe current provisioning state of the Maps account. Possible values: Succeeded, Failed.
SKU NameThe name of the SKU for the Maps account. Possible values: S0, S1, G2.
SKU TierThe SKU tier of the Maps account.
KindThe type of Maps account. Possible values: Gen1, Gen2.
Unique IDA unique identifier for the Maps account.
RESOURCE METADATA
Creation TimeThe timestamp when the Maps account was created.
Created ByThe identity that created the Maps account.
Creator Identity TypeThe type of identity that created the Maps account. Possible values: User, Application, ManagedIdentity, Key.
Local AuthenticationIndicates whether local authentication is Enabled/Disabled for the Maps account.
Last Modified TimeThe timestamp when the Maps account was last modified.
Last Modified ByThe identity that last modified the Maps account.
Last Modifier Identity TypeThe type of identity that last modified the Maps account. Possible values: User, Application, ManagedIdentity, Key.
