ManageEngine Free Exchange Health Monitor helps an administrator to monitor MS Exchange 2013, 2010, 2007 and 2003 Servers. The tool fetches the critical performance parameters of MS Exchange Servers and help admins keep a tab on the critical MS Exchange Services running in the background.
Upon startup, the tool initially loads the settings panel. Key in the below listed host details:
Click on "Connect" or press "Enter" to connect to the server. Click on "Cancel" to go the previous page. The entered details are stored for subsequent restarts to facilitate automatic reconnection with the MS Exchange Server.
Get to know the server resource details like CPU Utilization, Memory utilization, Disk storage details and MS Exchange version.
Administrator can view operating system parameters like Transition pages repurposed per second, Page reads per second, Pages per second and more...
The tool populates mailbox parameters like Messages sent per second, User count, Active user count, Send queue size, Receive queue size and more...
Administrator can view Mailbox RPC parameters like RPC requests, RPC failed/server too busy, RPC operations per second for Exchange 2010 server
In Exchange 2007 and Exchange 2010 server, the administrator can view client access parameters like Outlook Web Access/Average Response time and Outlook Web Access/Average Search Time.
Administrator can view important transport details like Active mailbox delivery queue, Retry Mailbox Delivery queue, Active Remote Delivery Queue, Retry Remote Delivery Queue for 2007 server and aggregate queue length,submission queue length and more parameters for 2010 server
Exchange Administrator can view POP, IMAP current connections.
Configure threshold at two levels - warning and critical. This will generate alerts in the tool whenever the set thresholds are breached. Threshold values can be set for the below listed parameters:
MS Exchange Server will be polled at the refresh interval configured in the settings tab.
To know the server current status, click on the Refresh icon in the top right corner.
The tool retains the below listed details for subsequent restarts:
Connection Information
Server Name
Domain Name
User Name
Password (Encrypted using Triple DES) encryption used
Warning and critical values for exchange parameters
Upon restart, the tool automatically connects to the server and populates the performance counters.
