Exchange

The Exchange dashboard displays the following information:

  • Tenants
    • Number of Office 365 tenants configured with the product
    • Total number of Office 365 mailboxes
    • Number of Office 365 mailboxes licensed with RecoveryManager Plus
    • Number of Office 365 mailboxes backed up
  • Organizations
    • Number of Exchange organizations configured with the product
    • Total number of Exchange mailboxes
    • Number of Exchange mailboxes licensed with RecoveryManager Plus
    • Number of Exchange mailboxes backed up
  • Repository summary
    • List of repositories configured to store Exchange backups
    • The location of the repositories
    • The capacity of the repositories
    • The space used in the repositories

You can also view additional information about the backups and restorations carried out using the product by clicking on the Tenants and Organizations sections.

Tenant summary

  • Use the Select Tenant drop-down box to select the tenant for which you wish to see backup and restoration information.
  • Select the time-period from the Period drop-down box.
  • Click the Backup or Restore tab.
    • Backup tab
      • A graphical representation of the number of backups taken.
      • A tabular column below displays the following information on each backup operation carried out.
        1. The tenant in which the backup operation was carried out
        2. The name of the backup scheduler
        3. Time at which the backup was initiated
        4. Duration taken to complete the backup process
        5. Number of changes identified and backed up
        6. Status of the backup operation (success/failure). The View Details link that appears will list each step carried out by the product and can be used to troubleshoot the product if the backup operation fails.
    • Restore tab
      • A graphical representation of the number of items restored.
      • A tabular column below displays the following information on each restoration carried out.
        1. The tenant in which the restoration was performed
        2. The name provided for the restoration job
        3. Details of the backup point used to perform the restoration
        4. Time at which the restoration was initiated
        5. Duration taken to complete the restoration
        6. Status of the restore operation (success/skipped/failure). The View Details link that appears will list each step carried out by the product and can be used to troubleshoot the product if the restorations fails.

Organization summary

  • Use the Select Organization drop-down box to select the organization for which you wish to see backup and restoration information.
  • Select the time-period from the Period drop-down box.
  • Click the Backup or Restore tab.
