Product Life Cycle Plan - End of Support

This page contains information on the support lifecycle of each version of Log360. After every major release, we support the previous version for a considerable period, allowing users to plan their upgradation or migration effectively. After a version reaches its End of Support, it will no longer receive technical support or security updates from Log360.

End of Support Details

A support lifecycle denotes the period from when a version is available for download to when it is no longer supported by Log360. When a version reaches its EOS, Log360 no longer provides security updates, non-security updates, features, enhancements or technical support. Shortly after a new version is released, an EOS announcement is made for its previous version on this page. We declare EOS to replace the older versions with a better and more secure version of Log360. EOS will be announced 6 months prior to the effective retirement date, so that the users can plan and execute the version upgradation accordingly. Log360 strongly encourages users running the older version to shift to the latest version.

Log360 will not be liable for any security or performance issues caused by EOS versions. Log360's ability to deliver a seamless experience depends on your cooperation to upgrade to the latest version whenever it is available.

2. Is the EOS different from EOL (end of life)?

3. For how long will a version be fully supported?

From the time of a version's release, it will be fully supported for a minimum of 12 months or more. As new versions are released, previous versions are supported for a certain period of time, then pushed to End of Support.
