How to configure Mobile Device Manager Plus plug-in app in Spiceworks?


Configure Mobile Device Manager Plus plug-in app in Spiceworks to manage mobile devices associated with your help desk tickets. This document provides the steps to configure this plugin app.


To configure the Mobile Device Manager Plus plug-in app, follow the steps given below,

  1. Create an account with MDM cloud by following the steps given here.
  2. Login to Spiceworks using your credentials.
  3. Click on the App Center and you will be redirected to the Spiceworks App Center.
  4. Search for the app Mobile Device Manager Plus Plugin .
  5. Click on Install to install the plugin.
  6. Once the installation is completed, the plugin app will get added to account.
  7. Enable the plugin, to manage your mobile devices.

Using this plugin app, you can perform various actions like, clearing passcodes, remotely control the device, remotely wiping either the corporate data or the entire device. These actions can be performed from the inventory and Help Desk console of Spiceworks.
