Includes support for monitoring VMware vFabric RabbitMQ, web client user authentication using LDAP/AD and other enhancements.
Features in Focus:
VMware vFabric RabbitMQ Monitoring
RabbitMQ enables a cloud-ready approach to messaging and is part of the vFabric cloud application platform from VMware. You can now use Applications Manager to monitor the health and performance of RabbitMQ systems and ensure your messaging system is sending and receiving messages without any problems.
ManageEngine Applications Manager tracks multiple key performance indicators of the RabbitMQ server such as queues, messages, channels, connections and exchanges. You can keep track of details such as which channels are publishing messages faster and which channels are consuming them slowly, keep track of the number of messages pending delivery and the number of queues, etc. These metrics help you easily understand how well your RabbitMQ resources are being utilized and helps in capacity planning. Active Directory/LDAP Integration for User Authentication
If your organization relies on external identity stores such as Windows active directory or LDAP for maintaining user information, you can now integrate them with Applications Manager. This means you can import users from the active directory and these users can login to Applications Manager using their active directory login credentials. Not only does this save time, it also helps you maintain a simple, centralized and focused password philosophy.

"I have experience with Tivoli, but the ease of implementing and the use of Applications Manager as well as the price beats them all. We do not even see a need to consider any other package."
