Enterprises are now embracing cloud computing services to scale up their deliverables. Moving to the cloud has many advantages when compared to traditional servers, including driving down costs, and increasing productivity and operational efficiency. However, cloud technology also poses its own security concerns in terms of application and data security. There are also other functional disadvantages like increased downtime and difficulty in troubleshooting, fault monitoring, and network forensics.
It's important to continually monitor all cloud-hosted applications to ensure performance and security. Logs, the digital footprints of all incidents, are used to provide precise network security intelligence information to prevent and combat security attacks.
Amazon Web Server EC2 instance support
EventLog Analyzer collects, monitors, and analyzes the log data generated by Amazon Web Services EC2 instances in real time. Simply deploy an EventLog Analyzer agent on an EC2 instance to initiate this process. EventLog Analyzer aggregates EC2 instance logs so you can view them from a single console. The logs are analyzed and presented in graphical reports that can be exported in multiple formats. Configure SMS or email alerts to receive notifications about any event of interest.
EventLog Analyzer supports log forensics to help you search through logs from heterogeneous systems and generate forensic reports such as user activity reports, system audit reports, and regulatory compliance reports. This helps you proactively secure your cloud infrastructure and generate insights on resource utilization for better capacity planning.
Benefits of cloud monitoring using EventLog Analyzer
- Centralized dashboard for all applications running on AWS EC2 instances.
- Log forensics to help track down network breaches.
- User-friendly reports on all applications running on AWS EC2 instances.
- Compliant with all IT regulations to help protect your business-critical data on the cloud.
- Easy troubleshooting and monitoring of AWS EC2 instance-based applications.
