How to deploy Cisco AnyConnect patches using upload option?

Description

You are trying to download Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client and Cisco AnyConnect Diagnostics and Reporting Tool patches and the download fails. This is because the direct download of patches are only available to registered customers with service contract.

Steps

Follow the steps given below to resolve this issue:

Download the updates of Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client and Cisco AnyConnect Diagnostics and Reporting Tool for Windows and Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client for Mac manually.

For Windows, ensure you download and upload this .zip file: AnyConnect Pre-Deployment Package (Windows) - includes individual MSI files.

  • Click on Upload near the Download failed error message. Using the Upload option you can install this patch.
  • Otherwise, navigate to Patches -> Downloaded Patches -> Upload Patches -> Search for the Bulletin ID TU-1363 for Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client Windows, TU-1704 for Cisco AnyConnect Diagnostics and Reporting Tool and MAC-265 for Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client for Mac and click on Upload under Action.
  • Then select Install Patches to deploy.
