109003: All authentication server failed

Cisco ASA is a security device that provides the combined capabilities of a firewall, an antivirus, and an intrusion prevention system. It also facilitates virtual private network (VPN) connections. It helps to detect threats and stop attacks before they spread through the network.

Message: %ASA-6-109003: Auth from inside_address to outside_address/outside_port failed (all servers failed) on interface interface_name, so marking all servers ACTIVE again.

Event 109003 is generated when no authentication server could be found. The inside address, the outside address or port number, and the interface name are specified in the message.

How could you resolve this situation?

Ping the authentication servers from the ASA and make sure that the daemons are running.
