105050: ASAv ethernet interface mismatch
Cisco ASA is a security device that provides the combined capabilities of a firewall, an antivirus, and an intrusion prevention system. It also facilitates virtual private network (VPN) connections. It helps to detect threats and stop attacks before they spread through the network.
Message: %ASA-3-105050: ASAv ethernet interface mismatch.
Event 105050 is generated when the number of ethernet interfaces on the Standby unit is less than that on the Active unit.
How could you resolve this situation?
Ensure that ASA with the same number of interfaces are paired up with each other. You might write Standby in ASA or failover suspend and resume in FTD.
