Message: %ASA-3-318125: Init failed for interface IF_NAME.
Event 318125 is generated when the interface initialization fails. The possible reasons could be:
- The area to which the interface is to be attached was deleted.
- It was not possible to create the link scope database.
- It was not possible to create a neighbor data lock for the local router.
How could you resolve this situation?
Remove the configuration command that initializes the interface and then try it again.
