314001: Pre-allocated RTSP UDP backconnection

Cisco ASA is a security device that provides the combined capabilities of a firewall, an antivirus, and an intrusion prevention system. It also facilitates virtual private network (VPN) connections. It helps to detect threats and stop attacks before they spread through the network.

Message: %ASA-6-314001: Pre-allocated RTSP UDP backconnection for src_intf: src_IP to dst_intf: dst_IP /dst_port.

Event 314001 is generated when the ASA opens a UDP media channel for the RTSP client that was receiving data from the server. The message contains information on the:

  • Source interface name and IP address.
  • Destination interface name, IP address, and port number.

This event does not require any action.
